"Who wears short shorts?" LOL Happy Friday beautiful people!!

The weather is getting warmer and it's time to break out the shorts...finally ;) The printed short is very popular this Summer and sold at a variety of stores from Gap, Old Navy, H&M, and of course JCrew. I purchased these little babies a few months ago when they first came out and I was so excited to finally wear them yesterday. I paired it with my favorite combo, a blazer and tee, for a simple yet chic look.

Also, while doing "research" on Memorial Day sales yesterday (visit my FB page for store sales info) I stopped by JCrew and they were having their first ever Style Session. They had sips and snacks and helped style customers in their new Summer collection.

Gotta love free snacks while shopping!!! Have a great weekend!!

Happy Wednesday beauties, it's me again! ;)

So I'm a huge fashion blogger fan! I have a list a mile long of blogs that I love to check out on a daily basis for inspiration! Some of my favorite trends are pattern mixing and dressing up t-shirts.

Sometimes I get a little nervous with mixing patterns. Am I doing this right? Do I look like I got dressed in the dark? Those are some of the thoughts that go through my head while I'm trying to get ready. (While my poor husband has been dressed and ready waiting in the living room for the past 30 minutes) Most of the time I just give up! :( LOL Other times I remember to take my own advice and just "try it"!

With this outfit I did the whole "dress up a t-shirt" trend and I love it! (Get it LOL) I guess you can also say that I mixed patterns? Maybe...? I stayed in the same color family by bringing out the black and white in the pants and added it in with the blazer, tee, and clutch. I mean, you cant go wrong with black and white and it made the outfit super easy.

Sushi Rolling and Sake Tasting

Happy Monday beauties!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Friday my husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and decided to do something new and fun. We bought tickets to a sushi rolling and sake tasting class :) It was soooo much fun! We learned how to make a California roll, salmon and avocado roll, tuna roll, and a cucumber roll. Combined we had about 64 pieces of sushi LOL. The sake was surprisingly yummy as well! Now, I think I did a better job at rolling LOL but you can be the judge. Here are a few pics:

It's Friiiiiday :-D I've been waiting all week to say that! LOL

So by now you guys know how much I love blazers! I was so excited to find this white one at H&M yesterday for only $35! (They usually run $40-$50 so I HAD to scoop it up.) The material is cotton and super thin which is perfect for Spring/Summer.

It's also a great casual Friday work outfit and it transitions perfectly into Happy Hour ;-) Plus this entire look; including clutch, pointy flats, necklace and top (both old), is about $150.

Happy Hump Day love bugs!

Today's outfit is one of my favorites! It embodies every thing that I love about Spring. The floral print reminds me of all the beautiful flowers that are finally in bloom, the jean jacket is perfect for those brisk nights, and the pop of color that seems to be everywhere now :) Now, if only we could get rid of the rain LOL.

Oh! This is also another under $100 look ;)

PS. This blouse is from the Beyoncé and H&M collaboration. Don't you love it? Super affordable and it has that whole "business in the front party in the back" feel! LOL
