Oceanside's 2 Cutest Plant Shops You Have to Visit

Hey guys!

If you've been to Oceanside, California I'm sure you've explored the route 101 area, aka Pacific Coast Highway.  There are tons of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and the Oceanside pier.  If you're anything like me, you love a good plant shop.  Two new shops have popped up that I know you guys would love!

Landmark Plant Co. recently opened their second location in Oceanside a few months ago and it is so good!  There's a potting station, plants and succulents galore, home goods, gifts, wellness products, paper goods, and more. The ladies there are super helpful and friendly. It's in a great area, just walking distance from some of my favorite restaurants.

Photo Diary: Hello Again, East Coast

Heyyy! I'm officially back in SoCal after a few weeks on the east coast.  My husband, Angel, was promoted earlier this month in VA and the whole family travelled to attend his promotion ceremony.  It was such a great time!  I then visited family in NYC and went back to VA to celebrate my birthday weekend and attend a friend's wedding.

I visited a couple new spots that I loved and wanted to share, as well as some photos that didn't make it to the gram.  Hope you enjoy!

Wine Tasting in Temecula

Happy Wine Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing a new favorite spot for all my SoCal followers.  I recently visited Temecula, southern California's wine country, and had the best time at one of the newest wineries and tasting rooms, Bottaia Winery.

Our Joshua Tree Air BnB

Last week, Angel and I stayed a few days in Joshua Tree for a little getaway.  We couldn't of been more excited over our Air BnB rental.  I shared a house tour on Instagram and got so many questions.    So, keep scrolling for some pics and a link to the Sun Catcher House.

Foggy Mornings in Big Sur

Road Trip to Big Sur + Stops Along the Way

Over Labor Day weekend, Angel and I took a road trip up to Big Sur.  The goal of the trip was to enjoy the drive, the views along Pacific Coast Highway, and stop at a few spots along the way.

From home, the drive to Big Sur takes about 7+ hrs. We decided to split up the drive into 2 days, stopping in Santa Barbara the 1st night.

The BB Travels: New Favorite San Diego Restaurant

San Diego's newest restaurant Luca, is all our Italian dreams come true!

Luca is located in the courtyard of the beautiful Guild Hotel.  What used to be an old YMCA, The Guild Hotel has been newly renovated and is guaranteed to be the new go-to spot in SoCal.  Angel and I visited Luca for dinner and drinks a couple weekends ago and today I'm sharing our favorites!

Everything below is highly recommended, so make sure to mark Luca down on your next San Diego visit.

Photo Diary: LA for my Birthday + a Few New Favorite Spots

For my 31st birthday Angel and I headed up to LA for the weekend.  We live just a couple of hours away so it was a fun getaway.  Lately, we've headed to LA more frequently and always find ourselves wanting to do more.  This time, we decided not to stay for the usual 12 hours.  We took advantage of the long weekend and booked a room at The Nomad Hotel.  Explored a few new spots, enjoyed our beautiful hotel, and even got to spend time with family who I haven't seen in years.

In today's post, I'll be sharing some photos and recommendations for your next visit to LA.

Things to do in Joshua Tree

While the city of Joshua Tree may be small, there are still a bunch of things to keep you entertained.  Today I bring you a list of some of my favorite places to visit and some spots I plan on checking out next time I'm in town.

First up, Joshua Tree National Park.

Happy Hump Day!

Today marks the start of my Joshua Tree series!  During the July 4th holiday we visited the beautiful and quirky city of Joshua Tree California.  We were super excited to stargaze, visit the national park, and explore a town that seems stuck in time.

If you're traveling to Joshua Tree I highly recommend booking an Air BnB.  There are so many beautiful homes and Airstreams available for rent, you'll have a hard time choosing.  Since it was three of us it was important to get a two bedroom.  When I stumbled across the Saguaro Hideaway it was love at first sight.

Come take a look for yourself...

Life Update: I Moved to Cali!!

It's official, I moved to sunny southern California!  A couple months ago I shared a personal post (here) where I talked about all the crazy cool stuff I've been up to over the past 3 years.   Now we're back in the States and more crazy cool stuff has happened!

Today I wanted to share some photos and details on the past 40+ days.  I hope you enjoy!

A Day at the High Line

During our time in New York we had some crazy weather.  It was raining, chilly, cloudy, sometimes sunny.  One day we had crazy beautiful weather and decided to head to the city (again!) and walk the High Line.  The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.  It's a must if you're in the city, especially when the weather is good.  The views are amazing and there are a ton of great spots for food and shopping.

Here are a few pics...

Spring in NYC Photo Diary

New York City will always be one of my favorite places to visit.  Yes, I may be a little bias because I'm from there, but there's just so much to do.  This trip we did a lot of exploring and spent a lot of time in the city.  Discovered some great new places and visited some favorites.

Today I'll be sharing some photos to recap our time.  I hope you enjoy!
