Wine Tasting in Temecula

Happy Wine Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing a new favorite spot for all my SoCal followers.  I recently visited Temecula, southern California's wine country, and had the best time at one of the newest wineries and tasting rooms, Bottaia Winery.

Views from the terrace with a peek at the pool.

Peek inside the Seated Tasting + Charcuterie Pairing room.

HIGHLY recommend getting the charcuterie board.

Bottaia offers two tastings, a Barrel Room tasting ($25/person), and a Seated Tasting + Charcuterie Pairing ($55/person).  They also have a Wine Blending Lab experience where you can be a winemaker for the day and bottle, cork, capsule and take home your own red blend that same day.

During our visit, we spent the early evening out on their terrace over looking the mountains and enjoying glasses of wine and their epic charcuterie board.  If experiencing a tasting is not your thing, I would recommend visiting the outdoor terrace.  Since it's Winter, the vineyard was bare but the views and sunset were beautiful.

One other thing that makes Bottaia a must is their pool club.  I have never heard of a winery with a pool, but it's genius! LOL  It is currently closed but will open back up in the Spring.  The pool club also has a café and full bar where you can order cocktails, sangria, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and more. $35 per guest reserves you a chaise lounge for the day, access to The Pool at BOTTAIA and Pool Café + Cocktail Bar, towels, drinking water, a locker and use of their public showers.  If you want a little more, you can reserve a cabine, $100 for two people.  Cabines are Italian-style private changing rooms including a shower, bath amenities, hair dryer, teak bench, power for phone charging and hair drying, and a private place to leave your belongings.  It also includes two glasses of sangria, two chaises, towels, and bottles of water.

You guys need to add Bottaia on your list of places to visit.  I can't wait to return and spend the day at the pool.

A couple things to keep in mind:

-Make a reservation before arriving.
-A chaise reservation is required to enjoy the pool.
-A chaise reservation is NOT required to enjoy the café and bar.
-They are open Wed. - Sun. from 1am-6pm.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Talk soon. 💗
