Celebrating Holi in Guyana

Happy Wednesday!

A few days ago Angel and I celebrated our first Holi and it was the most amazing experience.  For those who don't know, Holi is a Hindu Spring festival celebrated by Hindus and non-Hindus all across the world.

Holi is also known as "the festival of colors."  People of different race, gender, creed, age, and profession get together to celebrate and smear colored powders on each other.  They celebrate the triumph of good over evil, love, and the arrival of Spring.

It was such a beautiful experience.  Today I thought I would share some photos.  I hope you enjoy!

Barbados Photo Diary

Hey guys, happy Friday! Today I'll be sharing some photos from our stay at the Sandals Resort in Barbados.

Usually on vacation we are non-stop exploring. This time we really wanted to relax and enjoy our resort. This was our first time at a Sandals Resort and we loved it! It is adult only and all inclusive. The service was incredible and so were the food, drinks, and entertainment. We spent most of our days laid out by the beach or pool, eating, and drinking. It was exactly what we wanted.

We did go out in town one day to Limegrove outdoor mall in Holetown where we walked around. grabbed a bite, and watched a movie.

Overall, it was a great Christmas getaway and I can't wait to go back. This time, we will definitely explore Barbados. I hope you enjoy the photos!
