Happy Wednesday!

A few days ago Angel and I celebrated our first Holi and it was the most amazing experience. For those who don't know, Holi is a Hindu Spring festival celebrated by Hindus and non-Hindus all across the world.

Holi is also known as "the festival of colors." People of different race, gender, creed, age, and profession get together to celebrate and smear colored powders on each other. They celebrate the triumph of good over evil, love, and the arrival of Spring.

It was such a beautiful experience. Today I thought I would share some photos. I hope you enjoy!

Astana Fashion Weekend

Over the weekend the Marriot hotel here in Astana held a fashion event called, Astana Fashion Weekend. It was a three day event where local businesses and designers came to together to showcase and sell their products. Items ranged from handmade knitwear, jewelry, apparel, handbags, and hats. I was really cool to see the local fashion trends. Here are some photos from the event.

Happy Tuesday! This weekend in Kazakhstan we celebrated Astana Day. Astana Day translates in to Capital Day and the official day was yesterday, the 6th. It is a huge weekend long celebration throughout the city. Today I'm sharing some photos from the art festival. I hope you enjoy!

Hi!! I'm officially back home from my long weekend in NYC. We were there for about 4 days celebrating my 27th birthday, Valentine's Day, and Fashion Week.

On Friday we attended Lulu's Style Studio blogger party. It was such a great time! I was reunited with some on my favorite blogger girls and Lulu's allowed us all to select one of their fab pieces to take home. I was able to score a pair of their red cropped high rise pants. One of the highlights of the party were meeting 2 of my favorite makeup artists from Instagram, @DesiMakeup and @Chrisspy.

100 Montaditos x DC

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening party for a new Spanish restaurant in DC called 100 Montaditos. They're famous for their 100 different kinds of yummy and creative tiny sandwiches. The food is delicious and the space is so cool. Some of my favorite non-sandwich eats were the meat and cheese platters and French fries. You can pretty much spend the whole day their eating, drinking, and looking at the many framed photos on the walls. So if you're by the Nat's Stadium in DC and you're looking for yummy food, pitchers of sangria, and a fun vibe I recommend 100 Montaditos.

Rent The Runway x Georgetown

Good morning! Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening party of Rent the Runway's new showroom location in Georgetown D.C. You can now browse, try on, reserve, or pickup a rental all in one day. The space is so beautiful. Designer gowns, cocktail dresses, handbags and accessories at every turn and don't get me started on the dressing room! Each room has their own mirror with adjustable lighting! From day lighting to evening lighting. There's even a "selfie mirror" where you can take up to 3 photos so you can see how you photograph in the rental. I'll take one of those for my house please, thanks!

Hey guys! Over the weekend Angel and I attended a fun festival called the Taste of D.C. The Taste of DC is a 2-day event with area restaurants, beer and wine, live entertainment, and local businesses. You get access to 50+ D.C. restaurants/food trucks and over 100 beers and wines to taste. We had a really great time. Here are some photos...

NYFW: rewardStyle Blogger Party

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending rewardStyle's fashion week blogger party. It was my first time attending an event during fashion week and I was beyond excited. The party was a blast. It was held on the rooftop of the Empire Hotel right across the street from Lincoln Center (where the actual fashion shows take place). It was so much fun getting to meet bloggers that I admire and follow on a daily basis. The party was for bloggers who use rewardStyle's program on their blogs and pictures on Instagram. The program allows readers and followers to shop their favorite looks with ready-to-shop links. After the party, some other fashion bloggers and myself went across the street to Lincoln Center and attended the Academy of Art's fashion show. This was my first fashion show and it was so surreal. Let's just say that this weekend was the best weekend ever! LOL
