Happy Monday!
I've been getting a lot of questions recently about my skin care routine and makeup brands I use. I thought I would go over everything today + share shopping links, so keep reading!
Above is an unedited photo. I wanted you see what my skin really looks like with the products I use. My s kin is normal to oily, what works for me may not work for you.
Let's get started...
For years now I've been using the same face wash and facial lotion. Every night before bed I wash my face with Aveeno's Positively Radiant Brightening Cleanser or their Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser. After I cleanse, I exfoliate. A great natural exfoliate is sugar. I then moisturize with Olay's Complete All Day UV Moisturize. I then use a small amount of Coconut Oil on my face (avoiding my eyes), neck, and chest. For blemishes I use Clean and Clear's Advantage Mark Treatment. I swear by this. I've been using this since I was a teenager. For acne scars I use Ambi's Fade Cream. Now, some people forget to show love to their lips. I wear a lot of lipstick which dries them out. To rehydrate them, I use Kaplan MD's Lip Mask and Hydrating Lip Balm. If I have time, I use these two products before putting on my lipstick.
Now, when it comes to makeup I am very loyal to a few products. My all time favorite foundation is Revlon's PhotoReady Foundation in color "medium beige". I apply my foundation with a Beauty Blender. Recently I've been mixing my PhotoReady with Loreal's Infallible Pro-Glow foundation. I've heard good things about this new formula from Loreal and I like it. In my opinion, not as good as the PhotoReady but still good. I am also obsessed with Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealer in color "Neutralizer". I apply this under my eyes, bridge of my nose, cupid's bow, and chin. Then blend with my Beauty Blender. Another must have of mine is E.L.F.'s Eyebrow Kit in "medium". For blush I use MAC's "margin" and for highlight I use MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in "soft and gentle". Now, to set everything, I use Makeup Forever's HD Mircofinish Powder and NYX's Dexy Finish Setting Spray.
For a little extra glow on my body (collar bone and shoulders), I add a little Body Illuminating Fluid from Say Hello to Sexy Legs.
I think I covered everything. I hope you guys enjoyed this! Below are shopping links to everything I spoke about. Talk to you beauties soon!
