Black Friday Shopping Deals and Tips

Happy Wednesday! So Thanksgiving is tomorrow...woohoo! I am so ready to eat, nap, then SHOP! LOL You probably know by now that many retailors are starting their sales early this year, tomorrow at 8pm, and some even start today (details below)! Since I'm a total shopaholic I thought I'd give you the most current info on my fav stores and their Black Friday deals :) Here goes...
J.CREW- 30% off everything starting 11/27
J.CREW FACTORY- 50% off everything starting 11/27
HOLLISTER- 40% off everything starting 11/27
OLD NAVY- 50% off everything starting 7pm 11/28
AMERICAN EAGLE- 40% off everything starting 11/27
EXPRESS- 50% off everything starting 11/27
H&M- deals up to 70% off and the first 100 people in line will be given scratch-offs valued up to $300 off! Some locations will be opening at 8pm Thursday night so check your local H&M for details.
Now these are just SOME deals that will be going on. I personally like when stores do deals on everything rather than "door busters". (I never get there in time for those "busters" anyway.) That's why I mentioned these stores.
Now here are some tips for making your shopping trip as stress free as possible:
  1. Plan your shopping out. Check out the flyers and window shop online for the items you definitely want to get. Don't waist your time and sanity wandering through the crowds. Websites like TGIBLACKFRIDAY  and RETAILMENOT have apps that you can download to your phone with all the latest Black Friday sales.
  2. Stay hydrated! Seriously! Pack your purse with water and snacks like energy bars and trail mix. Trust me, you will be out for hours and you will need the boost of energy.
  3. Stay on budget! You will be overwhelmed with great sales and you don't want to accidently spend more than you have. A good trick is to pull out cash before hand and only spend that.
  4. BE PREPARED TO STAND IN LINE! I once stood in line at H&M for hours! I think I lost count after 2hrs. Bring a book, a tablet, a magazine anything to keep you company.
  5. And last but not least, don't forget to fully charge your phone! You'll need it to look up deals, keep you company in line, and help keep you in touch with your shopping buddies in case you get lost LOL. If you have a portable charger, bring that too!
Well, happy shopping! And I wish you all a beautiful Thanksgiving!

Purple Paparazzi Gatsby Necklace 4 Way Style Challenge

Good morning beauties!
I'm so excited to share with you my 1st style challenge featuring The Gatsby Necklace by Purple Paparazzi :) Here's how it works, 3 other blogger babes and myself were chosen to share 4 different ways to style this statement necklace! The Gatsby Necklace comes in 5 different colors and my pick was apricot!
Necklace: Purple Paparazzi

Coat: H&M (old), Turtle Neck: $15 JCrew Factory (sale), Boy Jeans: $30 American Eagle, Heels: $60 Nine West, Clutch: $13 Forever 21, Bracelets: Purple Paparazzi
The color of this necklace really reminded me of Fall. I wanted an outfit that was casual, chic, and perfect for the season. I went simple and neutral with the turtle neck and boyfriend jeans and added the coat for the finishing touch. I loved how it pulled everything together. The Gatsby Necklace made the burnt orange lines in the plaid really stand out and the green clutch added a bit more color.
Here are the other bloggers take on The Gatsby Necklace :)

Fur & Leather

Blazer: H&M $35, Skirt: H&M $25, Fur Scraf: H&M (old), Booties: Madden Girl $55
Some of my other favorite things about Fall fashion are fur and opaque tights! :) Finally these things can be worn without sweating LOL. I bought this fur scarf a couple years ago from H&M and I'm trying to wear it more often. I really like the way it compliments the black and leather and it just give the outfit a more luxurious feel. If you know me, you know I love everything fancy! ;)
Hope you guys like this outfit and don't forget to share it <3
Happy Friday!

A Trip to The White House

Happy Veteran's Day and a special thank you to all the men and women who have fought and continue to fight everyday for our safety :) Yesterday we had the pleasure to tour the White House and the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB) thanks to a great friend (thanks again Page!). It was so cool! I wasn't very familiar with the EEOB until yesterday. Turns out it's occupied by the White House Office of Administration and many White House employees have their offices there. At the White House we were able to check out the Rose Garden, the Press Room, and the Oval Office. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures in many of the rooms. Now if you follow me on Facebook and Twitter you might have read that I was freaking out about what to wear LOL. I kept it simple with a high waist pencil skirt and blouse. Here are some pictures...

Blouse: H&M, Skirt: Express, Heels: Target, Clutch: Louis Vuitton
Definitely a day to remember :)

In the Press Room

His: Frye Boots... Hers: Madden Girl

Blazer: H&M $40, Collar Shirt: Forever 21, Sweater: JCrew $40 (sale), Jeans: Hollister $20 (sale)
One of the many trends this weather has always offered us is layering. I love how sweaters and blazers look paired together and I thought why not add a collared shirt. I would normally add a statement necklace with this look but this time I didn't have to. The embellished neckline did the trick.
We accidently came across this trail that was littered with leaves and thought, "PHOTO OP"! LOL Cant wait to see what this place looks like filled with snow. Ok I take that back, I CAN wait!
Have a great weekend beauties!
