Happy Hump Day beauties!! I wanted to thank everyone for their sweet comments on my photos here on the blog and on Instagram! I've been asked a few times what makeup I use so I decided to share with you some of my favorite products :) I do LOVE makeup and I try many different products but recently I've been hooked on a few.
Usually during the week I go for a more clean look consisting of BB Cream and/or foundation, blush, mascara, and lipstick. These 5 items are my go-to every day!
- I LOVE this foundation. I started wearing PhotoReady over a year ago and I haven't looked back! I've tried mineral makeup and other liquid foundations before but none gave me the coverage and dewy look that this one does. I loooove it. Now, there aren't many colors to choose from (the "catch") so I do mix two colors. Natural Beige and Golden Brown are my girls ;) I use the lighter color under my eyes and then mix the two for the rest of my face. Easy peasy.
- I'm sure you've all heard of BB Cream by now. I swear every one makes one now a days. Those of you that aren't familiar with BB Cream, it's basically a tinted moisturizer. It evens tones, hydrates, protects...all that good stuff. It's perfect to wear alone (especially for those who are blessed with flawless skin) or under foundation. If I'm having a good skin day I use this as my "foundation". I am almost done with my 1st tube of Medium Deep and I'm defiantly purchasing more. Garnier also makes an anti-aging BB Cream ;) I think I'll try that next!
- Now sometimes us girls need some extra coverage and that's where concealer comes in. I just bought this PhotoReady concealer and I must say that I do like it. It comes in only 3 colors (boo) and I have the middle color. I do like it for under the eyes. I apply it softly with my finger or with a concealer brush :)
- This blush is major!!! It's Margin by MAC Cosmetics. I used to (and occasionally still do) use Nars "Orgasm" blush but since I tried this one I'm addicted. It gives you such a great glow. The color is like a pinkish bronze and it's perfect for year round. Defiantly one of my all time favorites!!
- Last by not least, mascara :) I change mascaras more than I change...never mind. Lets just say I'm always looking for the next best thing. This Colossal Volum' Express in pretty good and it is my go-to when I accidently buy a crappy one. If you have a fav mascara plllease let me know!
Products 1, 2, 3, and 5 can be purchased at any drugstore, Target, or Walmart. I prefer Walmart because they're cheaper ;) Number 4 can be purchased anywhere Mac Cosmetics are sold. I hope you try these products out and please share your favorites!
