Knits and Leather + Tips on Winter Style

I know dressing for colder temps can get a bit boring.  Redundant.  Same sweaters and jeans everyday.  Today I'll be sharing some tips on how to spice up that combo for a more cool 😎 trendy look.

Happy Tuesday! This look has quickly become an all time favorite of mine. This sweater dress is from Forever 21 and it is perfection! Super affordable and great quality. I initially wanted to wear this sweater dress with knee high socks and booties but it was too chilly out. Instead I wore it as an oversized top and paired it with faux leather pants.

These pants were purchased a couple years ago from H&M so I linked similar options below. The sweater dress and wool hat are still in stock.

Hey Guys! Black and white has always been a favorite combination of mine. It's super easy and looks great. Sometimes I keep my accessories neutral too, but for this look I thought I would add some color. The best part of an all black and white look? Any color works! Since it was such a beautiful day out, I chose this great turquoise clutch and bright orangey red lipstick.

A quick tip: When wearing black and white make sure your pieces are bright and clean. Black can get dingy and linty so keep a lint roller handy. White shirts especially can get dull and yellow. So make sure to choose your brightest pieces. Also, if you are layering the same colors make sure they match! There are different shades of black and white so make sure they match when they are layered on each other. Your pieces don't have to cost much. As long as they are clean, pressed, and worn well you will look like a million bucks. :)

Happy Thursday!

Hey guys! Last time I wore these leather pants were in Grungy Chic. This time I wanted something a bit more feminine. My sister gave me this peplum top for Christmas and I love it! The puffy sleeves make it so girlie so I thought it was a perfect match. The color blocked envelope clutch was also a Christmas present. I LOVE the color combo, it was the perfect pop of color for a black and white outfit.

On another note, it was absolutely freezing this day! The struggle of a style blogger! lol

Have a great day loves!

Happy Monday! In my last post I mentioned how one of my style resolutions was to be daring with my outfits. Now, this is something I've never worn before LOL. I've always admired girls who can pull off different trends. Seeing a trend and making it your own, to me, that's having great style. I mean, who doesn't want to be that girl who has people asking, "I wonder what she's going to wear". It always kills me when people say "oh, I could never pull that off!" and have never even tried. So this year my goal is to show you how easy it is! (Hopefully LOL)

Today's look is my take on 90s grunge :)
