Paris Photo Diary: Musee d'Orsay

Hey guys! Today I will be sharing my first photo diary of our trip to Paris. For those that don't know, my husband and I were in Paris over the long Valentine weekend to celebrate my birthday. Paris has always been a dream of mine and I must say it is exactly how I imagined in. I can not wait to visit again!

On this day we visited the d'Orsay museum. It's an art museum held in what used to be a railway station. It truly is spectacular. I hope you enjoy.

Polka Dots and Plaid at the National Gallery of Art

Happy Friday loves! Before VA was hit with the most recent snow storm, Angel and I made a little day trip to DC. We love to explore so we ended up at the National Gallery of Art. With the west building, east building, and sculpture garden we still weren't able to see everything. Guess we'll just have to make anther trip :)

Now for some outfit details...

Blazer: JCrew Factory $40 (sale), Shirt: Forever21 $15, Jeans: Hollister $20 (sale), Booties: BCBGeneration $55

By now you probably all have noticed my love for plaid. I was so excited when this blazer went on sale at JCrew Factory! (Original price was over $100.) I thought I would pair it with another fav print of mine, polka dots. It's always fun to mix prints. A rule I always keep in mind when mixing is to make sure one print is smaller than the other. Mixing 2 large different patterns can overwhelm you, especially on a petite frame.

So if you guys are ever in the DC area make sure you check out the museums! They are all pretty incredible. It's a great (free) way to spend your day!

Have a great weekend!!
